A shameful moment today for the United States of America. President Trump has withdrawn the United States from the Paris Climate Deal.

The deal unites all the world’s nations in a single agreement on tackling climate change for the first time in history said Helen Briggs with the BBC News.

This deal unites almost 200 countries to adopt more green energy sources, cutting down on climate change emissions in order to limit the rise of global temperatures–while also cooperating to cope with the impact of unavoidable climate change.

There is no Planet B!

I live right here in Sunny Tucson, AZ. Now I would like to know, why the heck, do we not use solar panels to the fullest extent. Isn’t it sunny here 90% of the year?

Now this is when my federalist self turns into a anti-federalist. Lets push for cities and the state of AZ to institute clean energy, solar panel initiatives. Tucson just had a proposition passed that would increase the wages of police officers, and provide money to maintain our roads. Well, let’s propose a proposition that will provide monies for clean energy.

This disastrous decision made by President Trump will indeed threaten the world you and I live in. Good news is that President Trump is open into making a new deal. In that case, make a deal, and make it fast!

Being the moderate Democrat that I am; I will indeed give the President the benefit of the doubt. I hope that when the President said,

.. and time to pursue a new deal that protects the environment, our companies, our citizens, and our country.

Let’s hope that this “new deal” will be forthcoming soon.
